Clergy Abuse Victims Demand Removal of Vatican's Privileges as a Sovereign State: Hunger Strike Has Begun in Italy!
Monday, November 7, 2011
SAVONA, ITALY – (VaticanCrimes.us) –Nov.7, 2011 – This past Monday, October 31, two clergy abuse victims Francesco Zanardia and Alberto Sala, have started a hunger strike against abuse by pedophile priests as a result of their unsuccessful 500 km pilgrimages to Rome - unsuccessful in the sense that although they completed their walk to Rome, the Vatican denied a meeting or any sort of communication to discuss proper guidelines of addressing pedophilia.
As the Catholic Church continues to be demonstrate that they are not interested in addressing this global issue, the victims have decided to seek alternative measures. They have now turned their attention to the European Union by declaring a hunger strike, writing letters to the necessary officials, and requesting a meeting with the EU President Jose Barroso, to demand the rights of the Vatican as a sovereign state be removed. Their letters are very explicit in explaining how this dictatorial sovereign state has exemplified time and time again to be unconstitutional in violating the rights of so many people in Italy, and around the world.
If you stand against clergy abuse, you can participate by signing the petition that will be presented to the European Union. You can submit it online by accessing: www.jh.to/petition
